An Alsatian heritage at the heart of the vineyard

Since 1793, the men and women of the Wunsch & Mann family have passionately cultivated the hillsides of Alsace, in Wettolsheim and around Colmar including Eguisheim and Wintzenheim. This living heritage has been passed down through more than four generations and is rooted in a unique family expertise.

Today, our estate covers around twenty hectares, including parcels classified as Grands Crus such as Steingrubler, Hengst and Pfersigberg. We oversee every stage of production including grape selection, pressing, vinification, aging and maturation in our own cellars located in Wettolsheim.

An exceptional terroir

Our vines flourish on rich and varied soils of granite, limestone and clay, which give our wines their unique aromatic diversity. This mosaic of terroirs, combined with an ideal climate, reveals the full typicity of the Alsatian grape varieties that we cultivate with care.

Our Philosophy

For us, every action reflects a deep commitment to respecting the land, maintaining the balance of the terroirs and expressing the authentic character of our grape varieties. Since 2008, we have chosen organic viticulture in order to preserve our soils and pass them on to future generations.

Our ambition is to combine

  • the aromatic intensity and purity of wines that express the character of their origin
  • the quiet strength of tradition
  • the spirit of innovation, with modern cuvées and more singular experiments.

The result is a range of wines including Grands Crus, Vendanges Tardives, Crémants, whites and reds, offering finesse, richness and consistency, crafted for both major occasions and everyday enjoyment.

Our History

It all began in 1793, when our ancestors started cultivating vines on this exceptional terroir. The true turning point came in 1948, when Joseph Wunsch and Joseph Mann joined forces to structure the estate in the demanding context of the post-war period.

Today, Thierry and Maxime Mann, the fourth generation, continue this pursuit of excellence. Thierry oversees the commercial development, while Maxime is responsible for production and innovation in the vineyards.

Committed to an eco-responsible approach for more than a decade, we converted the entire estate to organic farming in 2008 and obtained certification a few years later. This stands as proof of our determination to preserve our terroir and to pass on a legacy that can be trusted.

Our wines

We offer a diverse range of Alsace wines, suited both for everyday enjoyment and for special occasions.
